As youth sports across the nation resume play, our Product Team has been hard at work on the latest Sports Connect enhancements – and there are many!
Check out what is new with our latest update on November 4th:
2021 Fan Wear Logos
Many of our partners have been using their online Fan Wear store to ramp up fundraising efforts after a tough Spring season. As the year comes to a close, we want to ensure there is not a single missed opportunity for you to make a sale, which is why our latest update includes the new 2021 Fan Wear logos!
These are standard templates you can make available to your members in addition to your organization’s custom logo. In order to make these options available in time for Holiday shopping and ahead of 2021, you can navigate to Fan Wear > Standard Templates and plug in your organization name. Once activated, these designs will be available for purchase on both your storefront and within player registration.
Displaying Available Programs in Registration
Our partners are loving the new Mobile-First Registration experience and we are always looking for ways we can make it even better. The latest product update includes an improved user experience within the available program step of player registration.
As parents register their players, available programs will now show on one easy-to-view screen. This helps eliminate any difficulty they may have experienced when searching through multiple available programs.
We will survey the response of users to confirm that this is a better experience!
Google Translate in Mobile-First
In an effort to make it easy for non-English speakers to register their players, we have made Google Translate available within the new Mobile-First Registration experience! This enhancement will allow users to select their language for registration. To translate the rest of the website, registrants can update their browser or device settings to display their desired language.
The Google Translate link can be found in the footer of Mobile-First Registration.
Credits Available on Waitlist Registrations
This year, many organizations issued credits to families after spring and summer seasons were canceled due to COVID-19. With an uncertain Fall season on the horizon, some used waitlists to gauge interest in returning to play without collecting payment.
Now, once a waitlisted player order is activated to a program, the credit will be added automatically. Once activated, the registrant can log in to their account and view their open balance minus the applied credit, and pay the remaining balance, if any.
