As part of our partner-first focus, we are committed to consistently listening to your feedback in order to enhance the tools you count on each season plus add additional features that make your job easier. Our product team releases new enhancements, both large and small, every two weeks.
Here are the major enhancement highlights from our third quarter (July-September 2021).
New Reporting Experience
Our team gathered feedback and implemented enhancements to the reporting feature. Proper reporting is vital in order to make data-driven decisions and grow your organization. These enhancements aim to make your job easy with a more efficient and easy-to-navigate interface. Here is what changed:
New reports home page
From the new reports home page, you can easily access standard and saved reports, reports that you view frequently, reports that have been shared with another user, and more all within one screen.
Easy report sharing
Sharing reports with other administrators within your organization is easier than ever. Share live custom or standard reports with any other user at your organization with the click of a button. They will be notified of the shared report via email and will have view-only access within their Sports Connect account. Throughout the season, anyone with shared access will be able to view the live, up-to-the-minute data in addition to exportable PDF reports.
In-site support videos
We have added support videos directly into the reports dashboard so new admins or users that need a brush-up can easily access reporting support resources directly within the product.
Data Insights
Organize your data into easy-to-analyze visual graphs with the new Data Insights tool!
With Data Insights, you can analyze data from multiple programs within the current season or even compare year-over-year numbers. This update makes it easy to spot registration growth trends among your various age, grade, and/or gender-based programs.
Volunteer Registration Notes
Even though your league/club’s volunteers see volunteer requirements during registration, they often don’t know how to proceed with fulfilling them. These users need easy access to additional information on background checks, SafeSport and Concussion certification, or any other offline processes that they need to complete.
To solve this, we have developed an API for organizations that are affiliated with a National Governing Body or State Association that is using Sports Connect. This API pulls volunteer requirement notes from the association into the volunteer’s “My Account > Volunteer” page, making the information available after registration or when renewing compliance items.
Additionally, administrators within your organization may not be aware of changes to requirements and processes that have changed at the governing body level in a given season. Now, these users can stay up-to-date and view this information on the Volunteer Verification screen.
Single Sign-On (in progress!)
At the end of the third quarter, we began introducing Single Sign-On (SSO) for a small group of partners. SSO will help eliminate the many duplicate accounts held by members/parents of organizations while also allowing easy access to other Stack Sports products.
Be on the lookout for additional updates about SSO!
