Here are some of our most popular enhancements for Sports Connect Club & League from April to June 2024.
Interest list website module & email group
This new feature can help grow your registration numbers and make it easier for families to learn more about your organization.
The new Interest List allows your organization to collect email addresses from people who visit your website without them needing to log in or register for a program. The email addresses captured will be added to a new Interest List group within the Email tool.
Interest Lists can be used for various purposes including gathering contact information ahead of the season, sponsor interest, newsletter sign-ups, and more!
You can add the feature to your website by clicking “Interest List” in the home page settings admin toolbar.
Program Daily Deposit Report
This new standard billing report will be particularly helpful for treasurers at multi-sport organizations who need to reconcile funds by program or sport type.
The Program Daily Deposit Report provides a summary of all transactions associated with a deposit, organized by program. It functions similarly to the Daily Deposit Report but breaks down the total deposit amount by each contributing program.
This report includes all credit card payments from two days ago and any refunds, chargebacks, or fees from the previous day.
Stack Gear for football & basketball programs
Football and basketball programs can now take advantage of Stack Gear, a solution that makes it easy for families to get the equipment they need. This online gear store is built directly into the player registration experience so members can easily order equipment for the season while they sign their player up, all in one transaction.
Some benefits of Stack Gear include:
- Gear is available for purchase during the player registration process
- Selection is tailored according to the sport type
- Items can be added during registration and completed as one easy transaction
Stack Gear is currently offered for Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Soccer, and Football programs.
Program copy & clone enhancement
This enhancement to the program copy/clone process will help prevent admins from inadvertently creating multiple versions of the same program.
Now if you click the browser’s back button on Step 2 of the copy/clone process, you will be redirected back to where you were before creating the clone (instead of copying/cloning the program again and making multiple versions of the same program). This improvement to the process will help minimize the number of unnecessary copied programs in your system.
Umbrella Schedule Editor
The Umbrella Schedule functionality allows league admins with associated “child” portals to create a schedule that includes divisions from the parent and child portals. Once the schedule is created and posted, it is shared with child portals.
Our latest enhancement to this feature addresses a gap in data visibility for child portals receiving umbrella schedules.
Now, the parent portal name and a hyperlink to their website will be added in Step 1 of the schedule builder so that the “child” portal admin can see which league the umbrella schedule was generated from, and contact that organization if needed.
This new text and hyperlink can be found under the Allocated Divisions section on Step 1 of the scheduler.
Order Status Column Update Makes Mobile Payments Easier
The parent experience is very important for the success and growth of your league, which is why we invest time and resources into continually making parent-facing improvements, too.
This enhancement makes important screens easier to navigate from a cellphone. The Order Status column has been moved to the far left of the Order History module. This will ensure the parent/guardian is able to view and pay an open balance via a mobile device without having to scroll from side to side or change the phone orientation.
