Our goal is to make sports easy for hard-working volunteers and administrators who dedicate their time to ensuring sports are fun and safe season after season. That is why our Product Team is committed to bringing our partner organizations consistent enhancements, with new releases every two weeks. It has been a busy season as clubs and leagues across the country return to play. Here are some of our recent enhancement highlights that are helping make the return easy.

Easy Fan Wear Store Set Up

We have reduced the number of steps in the Fan Wear store setup process, making it easier than ever to open your own online Fan Wear store and raise money directly within the registration process.

Activating your organization’s online Fan Wear store can now be done in two easy steps:

  1. Upload your organization’s logo for design approval
  2. Select your colors & configure your standard designs

This new two-step process makes it that much easier to open and manage your own online Fan Wear store. As a reminder, your store is free to use, has no minimum inventory requirement, and is open 24/7 for fans to access through your website’s storefront or directly within online player registration. Your organization earns money back on every purchase, making this a great way to fundraise!

Grade-Based Program Resources

When players register for the season, they are presented with available programs based on their age. However, sometimes organizations host programs based on the player’s grade level rather than age. 

We have added a helpful resource on how to set up grade-based programs and divisions to guide you during the grade-based program setup process. You will now notice a hyperlink titled “Grade Based Tips” when configuring division minimum and maximum ages. Follow the navigation for helpful pointers on setting up grade-based programs.

Use Facebook Pixel to Track Registrations

Organizations that run Facebook ads to promote the registration season can now track their players’ entire registration journey – from the initial ad click until registration submission. Simply install a Facebook Pixel onto your Sports Connect site. Using these tools can give you insight into the effectiveness of your Facebook ad campaigns and allows you to see where within the registration process people drop off.

New Account Credits Report

After season cancellations due to COVID-19, we built a new Account Credits Report to help give you additional visibility into parents/players who have an available credit on their account. This report will display outstanding credits from season to season and can be found in the orders section of the Reports tab. 

Background Check Integrations for State Partners

For our National and State Governing Body partners, player safety and compliance are top priorities. Our recent enhancement makes player safety easier with background checks and submissions integrated into registration for partners who are affiliated with select governing bodies. Additionally, certification statuses can be managed in real-time from the Teams tab. This further connects administrators and team personnel to real-time verification data so that you can remain compliant with your governing body’s requirements at all times.

Our Reports feature is undergoing a significant upgrade which will be available to partners in the coming months! This new reports experience will include both cosmetic and functionality enhancements, including an updated landing page, drag & drop customization of reports, shared reporting, and much more.
